Tadka Jam

A new, funky addition to Nartan Festival.

We’ll warm up with a DJ set and then welcome to the stage Mirchi Mob, Leicester’s South Asian music collective blending the raw energy of UK bass with the rich rhythms of the diaspora. As they fuse tabla, poetry and rap with gritty club riddims and traditional South Asian flavours, everyone’s invited to experiment with dance moves – in any style they like.
