2Funky Complex is proud to be hosting the Leicester Music Conference (LMC) as it returns for 26–27 February 2026 across 2Funky Music Complex and The Venue @ DMU.
Now firmly established as a key date in the region’s music calendar, LMC brings together artists, industry professionals and music businesses for two days of learning, networking and live performance, and we’re excited to welcome delegates, partners and audiences back into the building.
A high-profile showcase at 2Funky
This year’s programme includes an evening showcase featuring Professor Green, the multi-platinum artist and mental health advocate, alongside Zdot, Gemma Fox, Queen Millz, and the South Asian Showcase with Brown is Everywhere / Desi Trill, plus more to be announced.
LMC’s live programme is designed to reflect the strength and diversity of the region’s grassroots scene, giving emerging and established artists the chance to share a platform, build connections and create real progression opportunities.
Panels, workshops, speakers, and the new Expo
The conference also brings a packed schedule of panels, workshops and discussions exploring areas like artist development, music technology, wellbeing, creative careers and industry change. The day opens with a keynote from Myn Jazeel, Co-Chair of the MOBO Trust and Chair of Music Against Racism.
